During the forthcoming High Level Conference on Opening up, an era of Social Innovation that will take place in Lisbon on 27-28 November (see this web page for more information) the European Commission will launch the“Horizon Prize for Social Innovation” focusing on the mobility of older people.
While the rules of the contest will be published only at the launch event on November 27, this webpage already provides details on what this prize is about.
Five prizes (a first prize of 1,000,000 € and four runner-up prizes of 250,000 € each) will be awarded to contestants who developed an innovative mobility solution and implemented it for at least 5 months during the contest period (deadline is end of February 2019).
